July 2024 Events

 

OU Matters:

  • Osmania University Semester end exams for II, IV & VI semester students were conducted till 05 July. Our college was a centre for the conduct of the exams.
  • Classes for III & V Sem students started on 1st July.

Faculty Development Program:–

  • E-filing of ITR workshop was conducted for all faculty by the Principal Dr. Aruna on 06-07-2024.

Guest Lecture/Seminar: –

  • A motivational speech was given by the Vice-President, VJIAS Alumni Association, Mr. Chakradhar on 18-07-2024. He stressed the fact that communication skills are more important than other skills and to focus more on interview skills to get good jobs. This was given to all BBA students.

Students Activities: –

  • Orientation was held on 15-07-2024 for the first year students. The Principal, Vice-Principal and the conveners of the committees addressed the students and parents and explained the workings/activities of the college and committees to them.
  • Saturday Seminars were conducted on 27-07-2024. 15 students made presentations on various topics of general interest like Union Budget 24-25, Social Media Addiction, Textile Industry, Tips for Giving Seminars, Karna, Technology & Education and E-Sports.
  • Yoga classes were conducted on 20-07-2024 and 27-07-2024.

NSS Activities: –

  • As per the direction of the Ministry of Education the Department of Traffic Police conducted an awareness program on 30-07-2024 on Traffic Rules and Regulations. In that context our NSS Committee in collaboration with the Traffic Police personnel from their Head Quarters in Hyderabad conducted a workshop on Traffic Rules and Regulation for all the students. It was a very comprehensive, informative and useful workshop for all.
  • Regular classes are going on for I, III & V Sem students.

Any other information:–

  • Principal held a meeting on 03-07-2024 with the senior faculty to discuss the conduct of the Alumni Meet on the 14 of July, which happens to be the Foundation Day of VJIAS. Also it has been decided to hold Orientation Day on the 15th of July
  • On the occasion of VJIAS Foundation Day, Alumni Meet was held on 14-07-2024. The Alumni Executive Committee members were introduced to all the alumni present. Mr. Bhushan from VJ Society, an alumni of VNRVJIET was called to be the chief guest for the occasion.
  • A Condolence Meet was held on 20-07-2024 to pay homage to Sri Sarath Gopal garu, Ex-Member, VJ Society, who passed away on 19-07-2024. It was resolved to observe two-minute silence to pray for his soul and to suspend classes for the rest of the day. All the faculty, staff and students express their deepest sympathies to the bereaved family.
  • Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, organized an orientation program for principals and management teams of colleges to inform them of the Youth Empowerment Series that they plan to conduct to empower students in life skills and human values. The program was organized at their premises at Sivam, Hyderabad. Ms. Anuradha and Ms. Sujatha to attended the program.
  • GHMC workers sanitized the premises and conducted awareness program on diseases caused by Mosquitoes to students and staff on 20-07-2024.
  • Statutory Audit started on 25-07-2024 and concludes on 27-07-2024.
