  •  International Yoga Day was celebrated on 24-06-2024 as exams were conducted on 21-06-2024.
  • N. Shashidhar and two NSS students attended the NSS meeting which held on 22nd April 2024 by OU cell at Samskruthi Bhavan premises of Raj Bhavan, khairatabad. The meeting focused on three main points.

  • As part of admission promotion and service to general public NSS volunteers have set up water camp at East Marredpally bus stand with college banner from 16-04-2024.
  • NSS committee organized a Blood Donation Camp in college on 02-03-2024. 35 students and staff donated blood.
  • Our NSS volunteers visited junior colleges on 12&14-03-2024 in and around Secunderabad and distributed pamphlets and pocket calendars to the students of Intermediate colleges and some parents of the students. This is being done as a promotional activity for our college to boost admissions for the forthcoming year. Around 250 mobile numbers have been collected from students and parents.
  • Sri Satya Sai Youth Organisation, Hyderabad, held a Youth Empowerment Program at Balayogi Stadium, Gachibowli, on 04-03-2024. They organised motivational speeches on ‘Awakening Youth’. 41 girls from all classes, along with Dr. Shashidhar, Mr. Swami-librarian and Ms. Sudha Rani- Accountant participated in the program.
  • On February 14 th , 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Pulwama,
  • in Jammu & Kashmir,

    marking a dark chapter in the history of India. The Pulwama attack was a terrorist stike

    that targeted a convoy of Indian paramilitary personnel, resulting in a significant loss of

    lives and leaving a lasting impact on the nation. All the students and faculty took a rally

    in the area around the college, and the main road from civil courts and water works, to

    Shenoy Nursing Home road, to commemorate and pay tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama

    Attack.
  • Students participated in Community Hands-Only CPR on 9 th & 10 th February, 2024 at Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad.
  • Our students participated in the Youth convention program conducted by Ramakrishna

    math on the commemorate the 131 anniversary of Swamy Vivekananda’s first Historic

    speech celebrations on 12-02-2024 at Mahaboob College, Secunderabad

We VJIAS, NSS National Service Scheme, unit do service for the needy people. We under take different service programs as per the university schedule . As part of the scheduled activities we have to conduct a residential camp. We planned the camp for a week from 22-3-2019 to 28-3-2019 at Gopularam (V) ,Shankar Palli (M) ,RangaReddy (Dist).

DAY TO DAY activities of our camp

Date:22-03-2019, Day:Friday.

All students gathered at Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS)of Gopularam village where accommodation was provided for our 7day camp by the Head master of primary Scholl Mr.Laxmikantha Rao.

All NSS students were divided in to 5 groups and each group was given different names. Each group has 7 students and one head. The names of the groups are as follows:

In the evening everyone assembled and discussed the weekly program Schedule. Then, we had dinner and slept on the first day.

• Our NSS groups conducted a small survey in the Gopularam village and gathered the information from the people related to various facilities that available in their village. We did Swatch Bharath Programme at village with cooperation with Surpunch, Deputy. Surpunch and ward members.

We conducted awareness programme of (National Institute for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises) NIMSME, Govt of India. NIMSME taken place at Govt. Primary Scholl . NIMSME Officer Mr.Sudarshan took part along with villagers. This organization conduct seminar on micro, small and medium enterprises. NSS Students also motivated villagers and encourage them to take part in.

We conducted Blood donation programme at panchayat office. Our NSS volunteers (25) and villagers gave blood donation. Some of volunteers from Jeear educational Trust, Arogya bharathi did survey at village on Breast Cancer & cervical cancer. The tests will be performed on 26-03-2019 for the registered candidates. 126 female candidates have registered.

Conducted Medical camp for females on Breast Cancer & cervical cancer. At evening our Director Dr. D. Vijaya Prasad garu, visited the NSS Camp to appreciate and motivate the members for the work being done by them and was felicitated by the Sarpanch of Gopularam and Sri Ramreddy a Rashtrapathi Awardee.

We did (Haritha-Haram) in Primary School and village. We also planted 70 plants in some parts of village. Gopularam Village Sarpanch Mr.Srinivas along with UPS Head Master Mr Mr.Laxmikantha Rao participated in this programme.
Prof.M.Ramulu ( NSS Programme Coordinator, OU ) visited our camp. They delivered lectures on Importance of NSS services and responsibilities to our camp members. The students got inspired by their lectures. He took part in Haritha-Haram programme and appreciated students for services.

On this day we gave lecture on Yoga, meditation, personality development classes, hygienic methods, Skill Development and leadership Qualities to the students UPS school.

Finally NSS Camp 2K19 successfully Completed.

Our students returned back with great aspiration and satisfaction. Pledged themselves that they have to conduct more services and awareness programs for the needy people through our NSS camps.
