Placement Activities:
- The Placement Cell conducted a ‘Self-Introduction Workshop’ for all students on 31-08-2024.
- A Campus Recruitment Training was conducted for final year and second year students on 19-04-2024. Mr. Indra Kumar, a freelance trainer, was the resource person. He has been providing CRT for our students since 2015.
- Placement Committee organized a placement drive on 13-03-2024 by the company Amazon for the final year students through Magic Bus Foundation. 65 students participated in the drive.
- The Placement Cell organized a placement drive in college on 28-11-2023 for all final year students. Sutherland Global Solutions conducted the drive for both Voice and Non-Voice processes.
- Dr. Anitha and Mr. Jawahar, freelance Spoken English and Soft Skills trainers, visited the college and discussed the possibility of starting Spoken English course for our students with the Principal and also interacted with the second and final year students to design courses to suit their capabilities on 08-01-2024.
- Rama and Ms. Pavani of the Placement Committee attended a TPO- College Connect Event conducted by the company Workruit, at T-Hub, Raidurgam on 31-08-2023. Workruit is an AI- powered career and recruitment development platform.
- Placement cell organized a talk on ‘Speaking Skills & Vocabulary Required to participate in Interviews’. A senior faculty from T.I.M.E., Ms. Lakshmi was the resource person on 23-09-2023.
- The Placement Cell organised a talk on ‘Today’s Business World and Career Opportunities’ for all the final year students on 06-10-2023. The resource person was Dr. Surya Praveen, General Manager of RotomakerVFX Pvt. Ltd. Moula Ali.
- Placement Cell organized a talk on ‘How to Get Job Ready Effectively’ i.e. on 19-08-2023. The resource person was Ms. Meenakshi Dhondi, director Sharada Career Hub. She is a certified career counsellor and corporate trainer.
Training and Placement Cell Activities-2019-2020
PLACEMENTS
• On 4th January, 2020, a placement drive by the company Blue Star was conducted at VNRVJIET. 11 of our students attended the drive, 9 from B. Com Computers and 2 from B. Com General final year. 4 students, Ms. Jyotsna, Mr. T. Rajesh, Mr. Dharma Teja and Mr. Y. S. Karthik qualified in the first round and attended the interview. Mr. Y. S. Karthik of B. Com General final year has been selected by the company and the offer letter has been given to him.
• TCS conducted an aptitude test for students on 18th January. 4 students from B.Sc final year and 7 students from B.Com Computers, final year, attended the test. 3 students from B.Sc and 3 from B.Com have qualified in the test and have been called for an interview to be held at Raja Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy Women’s College, Narayanguda, on 26th February.
• A pool placement drive was conducted at Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Patny Centre, Secunderabad, on 8 Feb, where around 50 companies participated. 7 BBA final year students and 1 B.Sc final year student attended the drive.
TRAINING
• On 18th January, 2020 a campus recruitment training program was conducted for the final year students. Mr. Indra Kumar, a freelance trainer and trainer for TASK, conducted the program.
• Mr. Vijaya Saradhi, AGM, T.I.M.E., addressed all the students on 1st February and spoke to them about career options and higher educational opportunities available to them after graduation. He also showed them how to solve some reasoning questions related to Time and Space.
• A training program on Life Skills, Soft Skills and Employability Skills was conducted for final students, who registered with TASK, from 10th -17th February. This program, Mahindra Pride Classroom, as it is called, is an initiative by Mahindra & Mahindra Company’s CSR. This is conducted free of cost by TASK.
• Representatives of Reference Globe a company that offers a digital portal for learning and training to students visited the college on 11th January and demonstrated the use of the portal and explained the benefits of using that to all the students and faculty.
22.8. PLACEMENT & TRAINING ACTIVITIES 2021:
Training
• A campus recruitment training program was conducted online for all final year students on the 5th& 6th of May. It was conducted by Mr. Indra Kumar, a freelance trainer and a trainer with TASK. He has been training our students for the past five years. The training dealt with all aspects of preparing for interviews like, grooming, writing resumes, and how to answer questions posed by interviewers. Students who attended the sessions felt that it was very productive on the whole and that it was really helpful in building self-confidence in them to attend interviews.

• BOSS: Business Outsourcing Support Systems is the Indian wing of an American Company which deals with retirement planning for Americans.
students, S. Nikhil from B. Com and Lakshmi Chandana from B.Sc., both from2020 passed out batch, attended interview there. Lakshmi Chandana got selected and has joined the company.
