Placement Activities: –
- Dr. Rama and Ms. Pavani of the Placement Committee attended a TPO- College Connect Event conducted by the company Workruit, at T-Hub, Raidurgam on 31-08-2023. Workruit is an AI- powered career and recruitment development platform.
- Placement cell organized a talk on ‘Speaking Skills & Vocabulary Required to participate in Interviews’. A senior faculty from T.I.M.E., Ms. Lakshmi was the resource person on 23-09-2023.
Students Activities:
- In Saturday Seminars conducted on 02-09-2023, 11 students participated and spoke on diverse topics like, ISRO’s Adithya L1, Tata Zudio, Confidence, Problems of Teenagers, Pill Camera etc.
- Yoga class was conducted by Dr. Shashidhar and Ms. Durga. Introduction to Pathanjali Yoga Shastra and asanas was dealt on 23-09-2023.
NSS Activities:-
- Clay Ganesha idol making on 16-09-2023.
- On the occasion of NSS Formation Day students distributed food to the needy people on 23-09-2023
- A self defence training session was conducted for all B.Com girls by our student Saikumar (B.Com second year) on 25-09-2023 and 26-09-2023.
- Teachers’ Day was celebrated in college on 08-09-2023 since 5 Sep was declared a holiday due to heavy rains. A few students gave speeches on the greatness of Sri Radhakrishnan and the importance of teachers. The Director and Principal addressed the gathering and shared a few words on the occasion. As is the custom at VJIAS, senior faculty members are felicitated on Teachers’ Day. This year, Dr. Shashidhar, Dr. Lakshmi Narasamamba and Ms. Sujatha were felicitated. Gifts were provided for all the faculty members by the VJIAS management.
- Telangana Bhasha Dinotsavam was celebrated in college on 11-09-2023. The Director and Principal addressed the students and spoke about literature in Telugu Bhasha and its importace and also about kaloji Narayana Rao and his contribution to the language. A few students gave speeches befitting the occasion. Ms. Sandhya, Telugu faculty, and organiser of the program, gave the welcome address.
