Faculty Development Program:–
- Ms. Anuradha and Ms. T Radhika attended “All India Women Academicians Conference Envisioning New Bharath” on 21-09-2024 at Tagore Auditorium, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
- Ms. K. Radhika and Ms. M S Rachana attended FDP on 13-09-2024 on “Effective Teaching Methodologies” at Avinash College of Commerce.
Guest Lecture/Seminar: –
- A guest lecture on Investors’ Awareness was given to B.Com II year and BBA final year students on 09-092024. The resource person was Ms. Padmavati Selvam, a SEBI registered securities market trainer.
- Department of Management organised on 26-09-2024 a guest lecture on “Entrepreneurship and Business ideas” for all the BBA students. The resource person was Dr. M Pushpa from Siva Sivani Institute of Management. It was an interactive session. Students participated with enthusiasm and presented their ideas. Overall the session was informative.

Placement Activities: –
- Placement cell organised a session on ‘Aptitude and Logical Reasoning’ for all 2nd and 3rd year students. Mr. Abishek, faculty from T.I.M.E was the resource person. It was an interactive and interesting session. Students found it very useful. This was conducted on 21-09-2024.
Students Activities: –
- A one-week certificate course on Advanced Python Programming is conducted for B.Com II year and BSC II & III year students from 03-09-2024 tO 06-07-2024. The resource person was Mr. Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, Asst. Prof. VNRVJIET.
- RBI quiz mock test was conducted on 12-09-2024.
- BSc. 2nd year students (Vivek and Tanish) got second prize in Mathematics quiz Competition conducted by Kasthurba Gandhi College for women on 26-09-2024.
NSS Activities: –
- A Clay Ganesh idol making workshop and competition was conducted for students and faculty on 6-09-2024 by the NSS committee coordinator Dr. Shashidhar.
- Students participated in traffic regulation program. Two students (Likitha and Niharika) from BBA 2nd year went for NSS Traffic awareness service on 30-09-2024.

- VJIAS Alumni Association has been registered and the certificate of registration has been received.
- Teachers Day was celebrated in college on05-09-2024 by paying floral tributes to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. A few students gave speeches on Dr. Radhakrishnan and on teachers and their importance in society. Ms. Shreya from B.Com III year performed a short dance for the teachers. Dr. N. Aruna, Principal, addressed the gathering and gave a message befitting the occasion. As is the custom at VJIAS a faculty member is felicitated every year on Teachers’ Day. This year, Ms.Divya Bharathi, Maths faculty, was felicitated. All the faculty members and staff were given gifts on this occasion by the Management. Everybody expressed their heartfelt thanks for this kind gesture from the Management.
- Telangana Bhasha Dinotsavam was celebrated in college on 09-09-2024. A few students spoke about Kaloji Narayanrao and the importance of Telugu Bhasha on this occasion. Dr. Aruna, Principal, and Dr. Shashidhar, Sanskrit faculty, spoke about respecting one’s mother tongue and how great the Telugu language is.
- Newly appointed Deputy CEO Dr. Sanjay Kumar, visited the college and interacted with the Director, Principal, Vice- Principal, faculty, staff and students on 19-09-2024.
- On 28-09-2024 freshers’ day was organized by II and III year students at SSK function hall, Malkajigiri.
