APRIL 2022 EVENTS
Guest Lecture/Seminar
A lecture on ‘Project Work’ was arranged by the Science Department for BSC final year
students on 20-04-2022. The guest speaker was Dr. Lalitha Devi, HoD of Statistics, Kasturba
Gandhi Degree and PG College for Women.
An orientation program on Tally Certificate Course was held by the Department of Commerce
for second & final year students. The speaker was Mr. Venugopal from Tally Software
Solutions on 25-04-2022.
A lecture on the topic, Research Methods and Careers in Management was given by Dr. Ramesh and Dr. Vishal from VJIM, to all final year students on 28-04-2022. The students found it very interesting and useful.
Students Activities
Sports, Cultural and literary competitions are being conducted from April first week onwards in the context of annual day/decennial celebrations.
Our college students participated in various competitions held at Badruka College on 28-04-2022. Our students received number of prizes and stood in the second best in winning the number of prizes. Almost 20 colleges participated in the competition. They announced this on the stage.
Babu Jagjivan Ram’s birthday was celebrated on 05-04-2022, in that context floral tributes were paid by the Director, Principal, faculty and staff in the college. The Director Dr. Vijaya Prasad spoke about the achievements of Sri Jagjivan Ram.
Ambedkar Jayanthi was celebrated in college on 18-04-2022. Many students participated and presented songs, talks on Ambedkar and a skit. The event was organized by Ms. Lakshmi convener of Seminar Committee
First ‘Alumni Meet’ was organized on 30-04-2022. Mr. K. Madhav, Jt. Secretary, VJ, represented the management and addressed the alumni students
