OU Matters:
- OU Semester end exams for I semester students were conducted from 11th to 31st Dec. Our college was a designated centre for the conduct of the exams.
Faculty Development Program:–
- Ms. Anuradha,Ms. Radhika and Ms.Rachana attended a 5 – Day online FDP from 11th to 15th Nov,2024 conducted by Presidency University on the topic “Advanced Research Methodology and Data Analysis “.
- Ms. Anuradha,Ms. Radhika and Ms.Rachana attended a 5 – Day online FDP from 26th to 30th Nov,2024 which was conducted by The Center for Research and Training (CRT) and National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu on the topic Research Structuring and Publications.
- Ms.Pavani attended TPO Meet titled “SamavetAI,” organised by RBVRR Women’s College, Narayanguda on 14-12-2024.
Students Activities: –
- Milan 7.0 an intercollegiate event was organised by VJIM for 3 days i.e 12th, 13th and 14th. On the 3rd day ‘Chrysalis’ cultural competitions were conducted. Our students participated in different categories and won prizes. In Singing competition Ms. K.R. Anusha from BBA 2nd year won 1st prize in Solo Singing, in Ramp Walk, Ms.M.Sai Akhila from BBA final year won 1st prize, in Painting, Ms.Nikhila from BBA final year won Ist prize. All the faculty and staff of VJIAS congratulate them and are proud of their achievement.
- St. Mary’s Centenary College of Management, Secunderabad, conducted National Level Management Fest titled “Empresa”- A ‘Fast for the Mind’ for 2 days i.e. 19th and 20th December. In cultural competitions, our students participated in many categories and won laurels. In Group Dance, B Com final year students Ms. Shriya, Ms.Navya, Ms.Mounika, and Ms.Divya won 1st prize and BBA 2nd year students Ms.Medha, Ms.Harshita, Ms.Likitha, Ms.Sahithi, Ms.Sai Siri, Ms. Sushmitha and Ms.Arthi won 3rd prize. In Solo Dance category Ms. Neha from BBA 3rd year won I st prize and Ms. Sahithi from BBA II year won 2nd prize. In the category ‘Best out of Waste’ Ms.Tanushri and Ms. Akhila both were given first prizes individually. In the category Singing Ms.Anusha from BBA II year won Ist prize All the faculty and staff congratulate the winners.
NSS Activities: –
- As a part of NSS programme Mithilesh and Ambarish, BCom. II year students participated in a program to promote traffic awareness on 12-12-2024.
Any other information:–
- Mr. R. Anand Raj, Principal Staff officer, Ministry of Mines, Government of India, was invited by Dr. N Aruna, Deputy Director, to discuss skill development courses on 9th December, the Deputy Director, Principal & Ms. T.Radhika, faculty interacted with him and got inputs.
- 31st GB meeting was held on 12-12-2024.
- Under CSR initiative, Dr. N. Aruna, Deputy Director requested Mr. Bhushan, Joint Secretary VNR VJIET Alumni Association to provide computers to VJIAS. Upon request he contacted Sales Force Co. and then accepted to donate 27 computer systems to VJIAS. Mr. Srinivas Kidambi, CSR, VJ, coordinated with Sales Force Co, Bangalore, completed all the required documentation. Personally went to Bangalore to receive the systems and oversee the packaging and transportation of the systems and brought 27computers to VJIAS of which 2 systems will be given to VJ Junior College.
- United Ways of Hyderabad had provided scholarships worth Rs. 3,73,254/- to 13 students of II and III year.
- A meeting was conducted by the Deputy Director on 21st December with all the staff members. She advised them to make calls to the irregular students and ensure the improvement of their attendance. Moreover the itinerary for the educational trip to Pune was discussed and instructions were given to all the staff members by the Deputy Director.
