Faculty Development Program: –
- A Faculty Development Program on the topic “Bibliometric Analysis and Systematic Literature Review” was organized by VJIM on 6th&7th Jan, 2023. Three faculty Ms. T.Radhika- Faculty, C.S Dept, Ms. M.Anuradha and Ms.G.V.LNarsamamba- Faculty, Commerce Dept were attended.
Students Activities:
- Seminar Committee conducted a orientation activity for the first year students on 05-01-2023. It was an ice-breaker activity- Pick a chit and enact whatever is written on it. Many students participated in the activity enthusiastically.

- A story telling session was conducted for the students on 21-01-2023 by the Literary Committee.
- 7 teams with 13 students from our college participated in the technology event ‘CONVERGENCE 2k23’ held on 24th&25th at VNRVJIET. Our students won third prize.
In Saturday Seminar on 28-01-2023 students spoke about Subhash Chandra Bose and other freedom fighters.
- Republic Day Celebrations- 26 Jan 2023:
Republic Day was celebrated in college on the 26th of January. The flag was unfurled by the boys who were toppers in their IV semester exams.
Students sang patriotic songs and gave speeches on the occasion. The Director Dr. Vijaya Prasad and the Vice-Principal Dr. Rama addressed the students and spoke about the importance of the Indian constitution and the greatness of our country respectively. Ms. Narasamamba, Ms. Vijaya Lakshmi and Mr. Sravan gave messages to the students befitting the occasion.
Satya Sai Seva Trust had conducted an essay writing competition for all the students of our college in the month of December. Three of our students Ms. Madhulika, BCom II year, Ms. Dishani B.Com I year and Ms. Supraja, BSC III year, were selected for the first, second and third prizes respectively. Representatives from the Trust personally handed over the certificates to them on that day. Our students, Mr. Raju, Mr. Shyam, Mr. Chetan & Mr. Lokesh from B.Com I year, who participated in the technology event ‘Convergence 2023’, conducted at VNRVJIET were awarded third prize for their project prototype ‘Smartbridge’. Their certificates were given to them by the Director that day.
All the faculty, staff and students participated with all patriotic fervour in the celebrations.
- Police personnel from West Marredpally PS visited our college on 10-01-2023 to spread awareness on drug addiction, cyber crime and traffic rule violations to our students and staff. They warned students against drug abuse and traffic rule violations which attract severe punishment. They gave examples of how cyber crime is committed ad to be wary of such calls that ask for bank details and Aadhaar card details. Mr. Ravikumar, Detective Inspector addressed the student.
- Dr. Aruna, Principal held a staff meeting on 10-01-2023 to discuss and plan academic & extracurricular activities for the upcoming semester after the exams.
- Principal, faculty & staff paid Floral Tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth Anniversary on 12-01-202.
- On account of Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary 23-01-2023, floral tributes were paid to him by the director, principal and all the faculty and staff.
- At 11am on 30-01-2023 the whole college observed a two minute silence to mark Martyr’s Day and pay homage to Gandhiji on his death anniversary.
