Placement Activities:
A session was conducted on 03-11-2022, ‘How to Prepare for Competitive Exams? And ‘Writing Resumes’ was held for all final year students. The resource person was Mr. Hassan, a senior faculty from T.I.M.E. The session was arranged by the Placement Cell.

A placement drive by the company Sutherland Global was conducted in college 09-11-2022, for both Voice and Non-Voice processes. 100 final year students participated in the drive. For the voice process 20 students were shortlisted and attended the HR round. For both the processes the result of selected candidates will be revealed after 20 days.

CA Mr. N Rajesh from PAVULURI &Co. visited the college on 17-11-2022 to conduct a written test for B. Com students in order to provide the deserving students part-time jobs in their firm. 67 students took the test. For the 24 shortlisted students’ interviews were conducted to offer internships in their firm on 21-11-2022Final interview at their office will be conducted in the 2nd week of December
Students Activities:
Saturday Seminar was conducted on 05-11-2022. 13 teams participated and presented their views on some topics like, Stray Dogs, Green IT, Time is Precious, Women Empowerment, Vallabhbhai Patel, Youth etc. First prize went to Bindu Priya from BBA final year, second prize went to Rakesh from BCom ii year, third prize went to Samson from BCom final year. A consolation prize was given to Rohan & Satyam from BCom II year.

The Dept. of Commerce organized a ‘Commerce Expo’. B. Com students of all semesters made models on various Commerce related topics and presented them to all. Sri V. Rajasekhar, chairman VJIAS, visited the college and inaugurated the Expo and interacted with the students on 18-11-2022. He also inaugurated the new classrooms that were built, on the top floor, meant for additional classes.

A recipe teaching/sharing session was organized for students on 19-11-2022 by the English Dept.12 participants from all the classes participated and shared different interesting recipes. Three students were selected for three prizes, Ms. Tanushree from BBA I year, Ms. ShivaniPriya from BCom I B and Ms. Prathyusha from BSC I year received first, second and third prizes respectively. Ms. Narasamamba and Ms. Radhika too shared their recipes. Ms. Narasamamba’s recipe was a new dish to South Indians. In recognition of her enthusiasm and hard work in searching for a new recipe with lots of benefits she was awarded a memento as a token of appreciation.

Some students of our college from BBA III & II year, and BSC I year, participated in the fest ‘Euphoria’ conducted at St. Mary’s College, Yousufguda on 18-11-2022. BBA students won 3 first prizes in three different events and one second prize in a different event and the BSC students got participation certificates. Our students won the most number of prizes among all the participants of all the other colleges.

On 22-11-2022, An orientation program was held by Dr. E. Vijaya, Program Director, ni-msme, Hydeavad as skill development courses like jute bag making, Accounts executive courses for III year and II year SC & ST students consisting of 5 teams.

16 students consisting of 5 teams from B.Com I,II & III year participated in a Commerce/Business Quiz conducted at G Pulla Reddy College of Commerce at Mehdipatnam on 27-11-2022, and one team from B.Com I ‘A’- A. Karthik Kiran, B. Shriya and A. Mounika, won the third prize for their model on the topic, ‘Traditional Commerce Vs E-Commerce’. The Principal received an appreciation from Pulla Reddy College. Out of 40 teams that participated in the event our college won the third prize in a very tough competition.

Around 25 students from BBA II year and BSC I year participated in various competitions conducted by St. Pious X Degree & PG College for Women at the event ‘Vidhatya’ on 25-11-2022
An Ad-Making Competition was organized by the Dept. of Management for all BBA students on 28-11-2022. 23 teams participated in the competition and showcased Ads made by them on existing products/services and social awareness.

A certificate course in accounting, from 28-11-2022 ‘Accounts Executive Certificate Course’ is being offered to B.Com & BBA II & III-year SC & ST students by ni-msme. It is a one-month course and trainers from ni-msme come and train the students in our college. The duration is two hours, 1:30 to 3:30 every day. Our Commerce Dept. has tied-up with them to offer this course to our students free of cost

IIT Bombay spoken Tutorial Program Certificate course examwas conducted on 30-11-2022 to B.Com III year, B.Sc II year and B.Sc III year students in Java programming, Hyper Text Mark-up Language, C, C++ and SQL programming. Over all 60 students qualified.
The newly appointed CEO of VJ, Dr. J. Satya Sai Kumar, visited the college on 11-11-2022. He interacted with the Director, Principal and Vice-Principal and toured the college premises.

On 26-11-2022 Seminar, students spoke about the Indian Constitution, being Constitution Day. Dr. N. Aruna, Principal, Mr. Prashant Pandey and Ms. Narasamamba, Commerce faculty, gave some information about the Indian Constitution.
