Guest Lecture/Seminar: –

  • A guest lecture on ‘Authority’ ‘Responsibility’ and Co-ordination has been facilitated by the Department of Commerce for I year BCom students on 24-10-2024. The resource person, Dr. Usha Rani, Associate professor, ISB along with her associates Mr. K.V.N Parameshwaran, Mr. Chandra Dasaka and Mr. Mukesh explained about ‘Authority’ and ‘Responsibility’ with a case study of Union Carbide Company popularly known as Bhopal Gas Tragedy. It was very informative and engaging for the students.

Students Activities: –

  • 51 students from all classes, along with 4 faculty members- Dr. N. Shashidhar, Vice Prinicipal, Ms. Rachana from Commerce Dept., Ms. Radhika from Computer Science Department and Librarian Mr. Swamy went to Rashtrapati Bhavan to attend Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav an event celebrating North East Tourism Paradise Unexplored program on 01-10-2024.
  • A 5 day Tally certification training program for BCom final year students was conducted from 21-10-2024 to 26-10-2024.
  • A 3 Day certificate course on ‘AI Digital Marketing’   has been organised by the Management Department for all the BBA II and III year students. Mr. Abdul Faruk, Digital Marketing Trainer was the resource person.  He explained fundamentals of AI Digital Marketing strategies focusing on key words and Search engine optimization. It was conducted from 24-10-2024 to 26-10-2024.
  • Ms. Nikhila & Ms. Sai Akhila from BBA III yr participated in Chess Competition, conducted at Villa Marie College, by Osmania University on 25-10-2024.

NSS Activities: –

  • 2 Students, Mr.Sanith kumar and Mr. Srikanth from BBA 2nd year went for traffic awareness service as a part of NSS activity on 01-10-2024.
  • Girivarshini and Gaganareddy for BBA I year participated in traffic service on 21-10-2024.
  • Ambarish & Ganesh from BCom II year participated in NSS traffic Service on 22-10-2024.
  • Keerthi kumar from BSc-I &  Ajithesh from BA-I year participated in NSS traffic Service on 22-10-2024.
  • Ambharish & Mithilesh from BCom-II year participated in NSS traffic Service on 24-10-2024.
  • Nagaraju & Abhinav from BCom-II year participated in NSS traffic Service on 25-10-2024.
  • Praneet Raj  & Srinivas Reddy from BSc-I year participated in NSS traffic Service on 26-10-2024.
  • Mithilesh & Srikar from BCom-II year participated in NSS traffic Service on 28-10-2024.
  • Ganesh,B. Com-II&Yogachandra Reddy BBA-I year participated in NSS traffic Service on 29-10-2024.
  • Seminar Committee and Literary Committee collaboratively conducted a quiz competition for all the streams on Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam on 26-10-2024. 24 teams from all classes participated.  Mr. Ramesh and Mr. Suresh of BCom I B won the first prize. Mr. Sumith Raj and Mr. Kumar Sai from III B were the Ist runners up and  Mr. Keerthi Kumar and Mr. Mahesh of BSc I yr were the second runners up.

Any other information:–

  • Bathukamma was celebrated in college on 03-10-2024 with lot of enthusiasm and cultural fervor. Faculty and students came traditionally and colorfully dressed and danced spiritedly around bathukammas.
  • On 15-10-2024, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary all the faculty members and students offered tributes to him. Dr. Aruna and Dr. Rama spoke about his contributions to education and his lasting impact on students worldwide. Adding to his remarkable achievements in the field of science both speakers spoke how humble he was and his deep connection with students. 
  • Dr.Sanjay Kumar, Dy CEO, VJ along with Mr. Srinivas Kidambi, CSR, VJ and Mr. Pranay, Marketing Manager, VJ visited our college on 23-10-2024 and interacted with all the faculty and staff. He motivated everyone to think on ideas to improve the quality of the students in the college and also to improve the attendance of the students to 75%.
  • Ms. T. Radhika, Faculty, Department of Computer Science, attended a live session conducted by Institution Innovation Council 7.0 from Ministry of Education Innovation Cell, Government of India, on 23rd October from 2 PM – 3 PM. Dr. Abhay Jere, Chairman AICTE was the spokes person.
  • Dr.  N. Aruna & Dr. T. Rama attended the felicitation function of Dr. P. Arjuna Rao, director, DRNVJIRD at VJ Junior College, Jubilee Hills on 29-10-2024.
